Benthic coastal habitat map for False Bay. Data layers are derived from the National Biodiversity Assessment (Sink et al., 2012; Van Niekerk and Turpie, 2012). The low resolution of existing data for offshore environments is reflected in the straight lines providing approximate delineations of offshore substrate types, highlighting the need for updated surveys.
