They make a huge range of products and components, ranging from iPhones to Amazon Echo smart speakers. In particular, the giant Foxconn company has been widely criticized for poor treatment of its workers. Often migrants from rural areas without the right to legally reside in urban centers, the workers are reportedly subjected to low pay, long working hours, lack of breaks, strict supervision, and sexual harassment.
