Leslie M. Harris is professor of history and African American studies at Northwestern University. Prior to her appointment at Northwestern, she taught at Emory University for twenty-one years. For the 2020-21 academic year, she is the Beatrice Shepherd Blane Fellow at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University.
