Lee M. A. Simpson is an associate professor in the Department of History at California State University Sacramento, and has served as review editor for The Public Historian since 2006. Her current research explores the life and leadership of Judge Richard Harvey Chambers, the longest serving Chief Judge of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
