Lon Kurashige is Professor of History at University of Southern California where he studies racial ideologies, the politics of identity, and emigration/immigration. Among his publications are Two Faces of Exclusion: The Untold Story of Anti-Asian Racism in the United States and Japanese American Celebration and Conflict: A History of Ethnic Identity and Festival, 1934–1990.
