Herbert G. Ruffin II is Associate Professor of History in the Department of African American Studies at Syracuse University. Among his books are Uninvited Neighbors: African Americans in the Silicon Valley, 1769–1990 and Illuminations on Chihua Achebe: The Art of Resistance.
