Paul R. Spitzzeri is the Museum Director of the Workman and Temple Family Homestead Museum in City of Industry. He is the author of The Workman and Temple Families of Southern California (2008) and numerous articles. Until recently, he served on the Board of Directors of the Historical Society of Southern California. His article about the discovery of Charles Jenkins’s Civil War diary and his transcription of the first half of the diary appeared in the Summer 2016 and Fall 2016 issues of the Southern California Quarterly.
