Paul R. Spitzzeri, Museum Director of the Workman and Temple Family Homestead Museum in City of Industry, received his B.A. and M.A. degrees in history from California State University, Fullerton. He is the author of The Workman and Temple Families of Southern California (2008) and numerous articles. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Historical Society of Southern California. His article about the discovery of Charles Jenkins’s Civil War diary appeared in the Summer 2016 issue of the Southern California Quarterly.
