Marsha Rood, FAICP, served as the City Development Administrator for the City of Pasadena from 1982 to 2000 and more recently as the Community Development Director of the City of Culver City and as the principal of her own company, Urban Reinventions.
Kenneth Farfsing served as the City Manager for the cities of Signal Hill, South Pasadena, and Carson before retiring in 2018. He is the president of KCF & Associates. His article, “Black Gold in Paradise—Reclaiming Signal Hill: A History of the Development of Signal Hill,” appeared in the Southern California Quarterly 97, no. 3 (Fall 2015): 244–66.
