Linda C. Noel is an associate professor of History at Morgan State University where she studies U.S. and Latin America from the colonial period to the 20th century. In addition to articles in the Pacific Historical Review and Monde(s), Histoire, Espace, Relations, her book, Debating American Identity: Southwestern Statehood and Mexican Immigration (Univ. of Arizona Press) was published in 2014.
