About the Peer Review Process
Submitted manuscripts are first considered by the editors according to the scope of the journal. If the work is within, or adjacent to the scope of the journal in ways that further and or expand the discipline, the manuscript is forwarded to our team of associate editors who then make recommendations whether the manuscript will be accepted for peer review. If accepted for peer review, members of the journal’s international editorial board are then selected to receive an anonymized copy of the manuscript. Although the majority of peer review is performed by members of the editorial board, external scholars and experts are sometimes engaged as peer reviewers. Peer review commentaries provided by the reviewers are then anonymized and shared with the author in correspondence with the editor.
