ZEYNEP GAMBETTI is an independent scholar who taught as Associate Professor of political theory at Boğaziçi University until 2019. Her theoretical work focuses on contemporary forms of violence and resistance. Among her publications are Rhetorics of Insecurity: Belonging and Violence in the Neoliberal Era (coedited with Marcial Godoy-Anativia) and Vulnerability in Resistance: Politics, Feminism, Theory (coedited with Judith Butler and Leticia Sabsay). Gambetti also cochairs the International Board at the UC Berkeley-based International Consortium for Critical Theory Programs.
