Nan Z. Da, Assistant Professor in the Department of English Language and Literature at the University of Notre Dame, is the author of Intransitive Encounter: Sino-U.S. Literatures and the Limits of Exchange (2018). Her work has appeared in such journals as American Literary History, Comparative Literature, Critical Inquiry, The Henry James Review, J19, Modernism/modernity, Signs, and The Yale Review. She is currently at work on a scholarly sequel to Intransitive Encounter called “Tracking Devices.”
