Erik Gray, Professor of English and Comparative Literature at Columbia University, is the author of Milton and the Victorians (2009) and The Art of Love Poetry (2018), as well as editor of a critical edition of Alfred Tennyson’s In Memoriam (third edition, 2021). He is currently coediting a volume of essays on Victorian love poetry.
