Emily Allen, Associate Professor of English at Purdue University, is the author of Theater Figures: The Production of the Nineteenth-Century British Novel (2003). She is currently working on Novel-Poetry, a two-volume project, co-written with Dino Franco Felluga, considering the influences of nineteeth-century poetry on the novel (and vice-versa).
