As I read Ms. D. Medina Lasansky’s review of David Rifkind’s book The Battle for Modernism: Quadrante and the Politicization of Architectural Discourse in Fascist Italy (JSAH, December 2014), I remembered the time when Princeton University Press proposed a translation of my comparison of New Deal and Fascist new towns to an Italian publisher.
