To the Editor

Since the publication of our article "Constructing Melchior Lorichs's Panorama of Constantinople" (JSAH 69, no. 1 [March 2010]), it has been brought to our attention that we did not make reference to several recent works on the subjects of Lorichs and early depictions of Istanbul. Two of these, published after submission of our manuscript, make major contributions to the subject: E. Fischer, ed., with Ernst Jonas Bencard and Mikael Bøøgh Rasmussen and a contribution by Marco Iuliano, Melchior Lorck (Copenhagen: Vandkunsten, 2009), 4 vols.; and Marco Iuliani, "Venezia e la pianta di Costantinopoli: Gentile Bellini e Giovanni Andrea Vavassore, 1479––1520," in Le Cittàà dei Cartografi.
