"Building Brunelleschi's Dome: A Practical Methodology Verified by Experiment" (JSAH 69, no. 1 [Mar 2010], 38––61) had previously appeared, under the same title and in nearly the same form, in Construction History 23 (2008), 3––31. This repetition was unintentional. The JSAH, like other scholarly journals, seeks to expand the literature of our discipline, not duplicate it. Those interested in the ongoing discussion of the construction of the dome of Florence cathedral will be interested in Rowland Mainstone's "Brunelleschi's Dome Revisited," Construction History 24 (2009), 19––30.
