Introduction

Cecilia Baeza holds a doctorate in international relations from Sciences Po–Paris and is professor at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica (PUC) of São Paulo, Brazil. She is currently working on the South American foreign policies toward the Palestinian question since the 2000s and is an expert on the role of the continent's Arab diasporas. Baeza is cofounder of RIMAAL, an academic research network on the relations between Latin America and the Arab World.
