Kyle Cassidy’s first music assignment was photographing the Ramones in 1986. Since then his images of musicians have appeared on all sorts of merchandise, including T-shirts, shot glasses, beer koozies, keychains, bandannas, socks, tarot cards, sweatbands and, perhaps most notably, the $1000-per-copy Bed Song Book, which was part of Amanda Palmer’s record-setting 2012 Kickstarter. He spends a lot of time thinking about what’s easy to pack, what’s easy to ship, and what he doesn’t want boxes of piled in his closet....
