Global Perspectives welcomes submissions of original work for review and consideration. All submissions should be made through Scholastica. Authors will need to login using an existing Scholastica account or create a new one in order to submit. For an overview of working with Scholastica as an author, please consult the Author Guide provided by Scholastica. Any technical or software questions should be directed to Scholastica customer support.
All submitted and invited Research Articles and Review Articles manuscripts are peer-reviewed, double-blind. Section Editors are responsible for initial reviews and identifying external peer reviewers. After peer review, Section Editors submit draft decisions to the Editors-in-Chief for final decision about acceptance. The initial review process will be short, and not last longer than six weeks. Commentary/opinion pieces, policy reviews, and book reviews are reviewed by Section Editors and cleared with the Editor-in-Chief, but not subject to double blind peer review.Authors are required to review the journal's Author Guidelines prior to submission. Upon acceptance, authors are required to sign an Author Agreement with University of California Press.

Global Perspectives frequently publishes special collections of articles on subjects and themes that align with the journal’s editorial aims and scope.
