Blood, Sweat, and Tweezers: The Morality of Food Photography
Dan Macey works primarily as a commercial food stylist, making food that is photographed for corporate advertising. He also writes recipes and has contributed to a variety of food encyclopedias including the James Beard award–winning Oxford Companion to Cheese, Savoring Gotham, and We Eat What?: A Cultural Encyclopedia of Unusual Foods in the United States. He studies and speaks on food history and is president of the Historic Foodways Society of the Delaware Valley.
