J. H. Pearl is an Associate Professor of English specializing in eighteenth-century British literature at Florida International University. His work has appeared in journals such as Studies in the Novel and Eighteenth-Century Life, and his book, Utopian Geographies and the Early English Novel, was published by the University of Virginia Press in 2014.
