Zachary Nowak
Zachary Nowak is a graduate student in the doctoral program in American Studies at Harvard University. He is also the associate director of the Food and Sustainability Studies Program at the Umbra Institute in Perugia, Italy. His research interests are the importance (or lack thereof) of place for food. His first book, Truffle: A Global History, will be published by Reaktion Books in April 2015. He is also the editor and translator of Inventing the Pizzeria: A History of Pizza Making in Naples, forthcoming from Bloomsbury.
