Peter Jackson is Professor of Human Geography at the University of Sheffield. He is the author of Food Words (Bloomsbury, 2013) and co-editor (with Anne Murcott and Warren Belasco) of The Handbook of Food Research (Bloomsbury, 2013). Recent projects include a study of consumer anxieties about food, funded by the European Research Council (2008–13), and a new ERA-Net project on “convenience” food, with colleagues in Denmark, Germany, and Sweden.
