vijaysree venkatraman, a native of Chennai, South India, now lives in Boston. At MIT, she analyzed sequencing data for the Human Genome Project for close to five years. She is a graduate of the science journalism program at Boston University. Her work has appeared in the New Scientist, the Christian Science Monitor, Science Careers, and Madras Musings, among other publications.
