dee hobsbawn-smith is a poet, chef, journalist, and educator. Her work has appeared in books, newspapers, magazines, anthologies, and literary journals. After twenty-seven years in Calgary, Alberta, she now resides in a one-hundred-year-old farmhouse west of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Her fifth book, Foodshed: An Edible Prairie Alphabet, is published by Touchwood Editions.
