A Sober Assessment of Drug Courts¹

Drs. Marlowe, DeMatteo and Festinger are Behavioral Scientists in the Section on Law & Ethics Research at the Treatment Research Institute (TRI) at the University of Pennsylvania, and the authors of numerous papers on drug courts and drug court data.

TRI's Section on Law & Ethics Research is dedicated to employing rigorous scientific methods to evaluate the impact of criminal justice programs, legal policies, and ethical mandates on substance abuse clients, their families, and the community.
