Rossellini's Pictorial Histories

David Forgacs holds the established Chair of Italian at University College London. He is the author of Rome Open City in the BFI Film Classics series and co-editor, with Geoffrey Nowell-Smith and Sarah Lutton, of Roberto Rossellini: Magician of the Real (BFI Publishing, 2000). In September 2011 he is taking up the newly endowed Guido and Mariuccia Zerilli-Marimò chair in Contemporary Italian Studies at New York University.
