Feminist Media Histories does NOT accept unsolicited manuscripts. Please do not upload without an invitation from the editorial office.
We publish special topic issues organized by guest editors. Interested contributors are advised to contact the Editor before submitting material: [email protected].
Manuscripts that have been previously published or are under consideration for publication elsewhere will not be accepted.
Manuscripts should typically not exceed 8,500 words, including endnotes. They should be formatted in Microsoft Word, double-spaced, use a 12-point font, and have pages numbered consecutively.
Submissions should follow the format specified by the Chicago Manual of Style. All citations will appear as endnotes. Full citations are required.
Articles are reviewed anonymously. No identifying information should appear in the body of the manuscript.
Images and figures (with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi) should be submitted in separate documents, not imbedded in the article itself. Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish the images where necessary.
