Establishing Grenada’s First Collaborative High School: A Journey to Engage, Empower, and Educate by Changing a System from the Inside Out

The author describes creating a new collaborative high school in Grenada. She explains the key features of effective collaboration between teachers, students, parents, and the community. This commentary highlights the challenges of reframing education to emphasize cooperation and effective school culture-building, reclaim the purpose of education, and avoid reproduction of colonial models of schooling.
