Special Feature: Pan-Pacific Anthropocene
The Pan-Pacific realm features a richness of culture and civilizations, connected by the world's largest ocean. Over the past decades, rapid regional economic development has led to severe environmental pollution and ecological crises. This Special Feature invites contributions that advance our knowledge on the consequences of the Anthropocene on the Pan-Pacific realm, including environmental pollution, historical records, marine proxy records, biodiversity, ecosystem health, and human migrations. It also addresses management strategies towards regional and global environmental sustainability.
