Brigitte L. Nacos is an adjunct associate professor of political science at Columbia University. She is the author of Terrorism and the Media: From the Iran Hostage Crisis to the Oklahoma City Bombing (New York: Columbia University Press, 1996) and coauthor, with Lewis J. Edinger, of From Bonn to Berlin: German Politics in Transition (New York: Columbia University Press, 1998).
