Michael Bratton
Michael Bratton is a professor of political science and African studies at Michigan State University. He is the coauthor with Nicolas van de Walk of Democratic Experiments in Africa (New York: Cambridge University Press, 1997) and coeditor with Goran Hyden of Governance and Politics in Africa (Boulder, Colo.: Lynne Rienner Publishers, 1992). He is currently a visiting Fulbright scholar at the Universities of Natal and Durban in South Africa.
