Peter Andreas is a guest scholar at the Center for United States-Mexican Studies at the University of California at San Diego, and a Social Science Research Council—MacArthur Foundation fellow on Peace and Security in a Changing World. He is the author, along with Eva Bertram, Morris Blachman, and Kenneth Sharpe, of Drug War Politics: The Price of Denial (Berkeley: University of California Press, 1996).
