Ben Schiff, a professor of politics at Oberlin College, is coauthor with June Goodwin of Heart of Whiteness: Afrikaners Face Black Rule in the New South Africa (New York: Scribner, 1995) and author of Refugees unto the Third Generation: U.N. Aid to Palestinians (Syracuse, N.Y.: Syracuse University Press, 1995).
