Nigeria: Inside the Dismal Tunnel

Richard Joseph, a visiting professor of political science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, has written extensively on Nigerian politics. His books include Democracy and Prebendal Politics in Nigeria: The Rise and Fall of the Second Republic (Cambridge: Cambridge University Press, 1987).
