Anthony T. Bryan is a professor of international relations and the director of the Caribbean Program at the University of Miami’s North-South Center. He is the author or coauthor of six books on the Caribbean, and the editor of The Caribbean: New Dynamics in Trade and Political Economy (New Brunswick, N.J.: Transaction, 1994).
