David Shambaugh
David Shambaugh is senior lecturer in Chinese politics at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, and editor of The China Quarterly. He is the author of Beautiful Imperialist: China Perceives America, 1972-1990 (Princeton, N.J.: Princeton University Press, 1991), a contributing editor of American Studies of Contemporary China (Armonk, N. Y.: M. E. Sharpe, 1993), and contributing coeditor with Thomas Robinson of Chinese Foreign Policy: Theory and Practice (Oxford: Oxford University Press, 1993).
