Klareis the Five College Associate Professor of Peace and World Security Studies, a joint appointment at Amherst, Hampshire, Mount Holyoke, and Smith Colleges and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He is the author of American Arms Supermarket (Austin: University of Texas Press, 1984) and co-editor of Low-Intensity Warfare (New York: Pantheon, 1988) and World Security: Trends and Challenges at Century’s End, 2d ed.
