The Puzzle of Poland

Jane Leftwich Curry is an associate professor of political science at Santa Clara University. She was a Fulbright professor in Poland during 1990-1991 and is the author of The Black Book of Polish Censorship (New York: Vintage Books, 1984) and Poland’s Journalists: Politics and Professionalism (New York: Cambridge University Press, 1990).
