F. Gerard Adams is a professor of economics and finance at the University of Pennsylvania. He has worked as a business economist, senior consultant to Wharton Econometrics, and senior staff member of the Council of Economic Advisers in Washington, D.C., and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development in Paris. His most recent book is Business Forecasting Revolution (New York: Oxford University Press, 1986).
