Kuwait: The Morning After

Mary Ann Tétreault is a professor of political science and geography at Old Dominion University and the author of Revolution in the World Petroleum Market (Westport, Conn.: Quorum Books, 1985) and “Autonomy, Necessity, and the Small State: Ruling Kuwait in the Twentieth Century,” in International Organization (Autumn 1991). In the spring o f 1990 she was a Fulbright fellow in Kuwait, where she conducted interviews with members of the political opposition and the government.
