Environmental Problems and Policies in the Soviet Union

Hilary F. French is a senior researcher at the Worldwatch Institute in Washington, D.C. She is the author of Worldwatch Paper 99, Green Revolutions: Environmental Reconstruction in Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union, published by the institute in November 1990, and coauthor of the institute's State of the World 1990 and 1991 reports.
