Clark D. Neher is an associate of the Center for Southeast Asian Studies at Northern Illinois University. He has written extensively on politics in Southeast Asia, particularly Thailand and the Philippines. His books include Politics in Southeast Asia (1987) and Modern Thai Politics (1979), both published by Schenkman Publishing Company of Cambridge, Mass.
