Global Security: Approaching the Year 2000

George W. Rathjens has served in the Departments of Defense and State, on the staff of President Dwight D. Eisenhower’s science adviser and in the United States Arms Control and Disarmament Agency. He has been a professor of political science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology since 1968, working on defense and arms control matters.
