Leonard Lynn is the author of How Japan Innovates: A Comparison with the U.S. in the Case of Oxygen Steelmaking (Boulder: Westview Press, 1982) and several articles on technology in Japan. He is currently engaged in comparative studies of the engineering profession and of office automation in the United States and Japan.
