Dissent and the Contra-System in East Europe

Robert Sharlet, a specialist on East European and Soviet politics, law and political justice, has published four books and many articles. He recently contributed to the International Journal of the Sociology of Law and Soviet Politics: Russia After Brezhnev, edited by Joseph Nogee (New York: Praeger, 1985). He has twice testified before Congress on dissent and repression in East Europe.
