Soviet Policy in the Gulf States

Mark N. Katz is a Rockefeller Foundation international relations fellow at the Brookings Institution. He is the author of The Third World in Soviet Military Thought (Baltimore: Johns Hopkins University Press, 1982), and has recently completed work on a book entitled Russia and Arabia: Soviet Foreign Policy Toward the Arabian Peninsula.
