China’s Economy: Advances and Dilemmas

Chu-yuan Cheng, former senior research economist at the Center for Chinese Studies at the University of Michigan, is the author of more than 10 books and many articles on the Chinese economy. His latest books are: China’s Economic Development: Growth and Structural Change (Boulder: Westview Press, 1982) and The Demand and Supply of Primary Energy in Mainland China (Taipei: Chung-Hua Institution for Economic Research, 1983).
